Hi, I have 2 questions:

1. How do I get my villagers to request new PWP faster? I know it's kinda random, but I'm hardly getting any.. In days/weeks!

2. Can you change your town hall/train station back to it's Original look after you changed it into modern/japanese/fairy tale?

Thanks! :)

i heard that going into the sea for 5 mins then coming out should make someone ding so that might give a project and yeah you can change the town hall style back if you want, not sure about the train station probably the same deal tho

There's no proven way to get villagers to request PWP faster. I know there's lots of people who swear by the 4-dive jellyfish method but I don't believe it works. Just keep walking around your town doing regular things and they'll request PWPs. I've found they request them more when I am building more PWPs.

And yes, but you have to pay for the change. You can't demolish it and go back to the original.

The dive doesn't work for me. Every time I come out they ask me for things, but usually what i'm holding or for me to catch them something. Never had it spark a PWP request yet.

Dive for 5 mins. Get stung by jellyfish. Fill your entire pocket with seashells! Don't have any bells on you; withdraw all your money in the bank. The ping is more likely to be a PWP if you have no money and no space in your pockets (with the seashells).

I've also read that once your villager begins nagging you to rest, or comments on how tired you look, that they will not suggest any PWPs for the rest of the play session. If anyone can disprove or corroborate that, I'd appreciate it.

I've also had no especially good luck using the diving trick. I think just being outside and away from your villagers for at least five minutes is all that really matters, whether you're swimming or just standing around in a rarely visited corner of the map. What helps me is to make sure my inventory only contains tools, and that I'm carrying a minimum of bells to ensure that they don't want to buy or sell me anything when the "ding" happens.

The Diving trick DOES WORK it guarantees the villager is "surprised to see you" what it doesn't guarantee is that they have a PWP suggestion.

I just got a suggestion today after I've been told I've been playing too long.

The diving trick works best for getting new PWPs, but you have to have no items at all (if you have tools, they can still ask you to catch something for them, I think) and as few Bells as possible. It might also work if you fill your pocket with shells, but I've never tried that.

Also, as mayortash already said, you'll have to pay, and it costs to change it back as it did to change it to one of the other themes, I think.

The diving trick only works because when you're in the sea, villagers can't "see" you. You don't /have/ to go diving. Just make sure you have 0 bells and no items or tools on you, and stay in a small part of your town where your villagers aren't. Then time ~5mins and one of your villagers will ding you. The 0 bells/no items/no tools bit makes getting PWPs less random because villagers can't ask you to buy/sell/catch something for them. But it's still not guaranteed, since they can ask you to change your nickname or something. But it does make it a tiny bit less random.

This, exactly. Diving has nothing to do with it, at least not in my experience. I've gotten the same results from just avoiding my villagers for 10 minutes. I go to the beach, stay close to the cliff edge, then browse forums for a while. When I return to the town proper, usually a few villagers are guaranteed to "ding" at me. No guarantees that it won't be for urgent business like coming up with a new greeting, instead of a PWP.

Thanks to TheLostEmpire for disproving the whole "no PWPs if they think you look tired" deal. If that had been true, I'd be rather annoyed.
