Have you been talking to Isabelle? I believe you have to "unlock" the point where you can do the approval rating.

Just curious as to where everyone is at! I started playing the game around 1:30 AM, went to bed at 3, got up at 9, and have been playing ever since. (I'm EST.) My approval rating at the time of writing this is 86%, no time travelling. (Not sure what I did, though, LOL.) How about you guys?
