Call it being new to the GFX style/learning still xD I also like to perfect things which adds time Dx I shall definitely be getting better slowly and hopefully reducing the time it takes i.e. gaining my own style on this <:

That sig I did tonight just wiped me out after 3 1/2 hours+ you do an incredible job of getting them done fast and elegantly<3 I will have to definitely get acquainted with the style first xD

Then I should be able to get it as close to the effect as possible, yay<3

I shall give that one a definite try tomorrow or rather in the afternoon/evening xD I may be able to follow it fairly well, I know what all the terms are indicating <:

I'm actually using both xD I did the pixelated/mosaic one on a regular DA tutorial, I sort of messed up on said style which is why it looked too choppy >:

I actually used the video because it was easier to follow the 40+ layer tut than reading each step xD The only choices were two part video tutorial or text reader tutorial, I would say imagery helps more <:

I found some, that was how I got some of those applied styles on my current sig<3 I did my best, the tutorial I used was a nearly 1 hour video tut and explained the placement, I sort of diverged from the exact tutorial but can say I am quite happy with my first GFX sig xD definitely not a bad first attempt <:

As you said has a "tech" feel it was originally a water style/effect, but yeah I still like the end product<3

I agree, I shall continue to practice good placement/lighting/erasing etc. to get it just right^_^

It really is, it's been pretty rocky with finding the right college, but I am now certain Motion Graphics is my calling w/ design on the side^_^

I hear Computer Science is difficult, does it involve lots of complex classes? I don't think I could handle that type of major haha xD

I certainly do xD I actually saw you use Photoshop CC, I actually am using Photoshop CS5.1 Extended. Have been using it since '10 and I can't help but love knowing what to do with all the knobs and whatnot <:

I do also have the entire Adobe Suite and am getting ready in somewhere around a year to head back to Design College to get my BA as a Motion Graphics major xD I wanted to do web design, but I will be taking it up on the side until later<3

I agree, as it says above your avatar "Practice makes perfect" and surprisingly this is a brand new interest for me<3 I had always been highly interested in designing anime sites and whatnot and feel like taking on GFX styles on sigs is a fantastic start, I also agree I would absolutely love to diverge from the tuts and rely on my own sense of style <:

I literally just started this design style today and am quite happy with my very first decent attempt^_^ I am certainly going to be continuing and of course improving as I go along.

Of course lol. I saw them and suddenly had an epiphany that I wanted to attempt that lovely anime style<3 I am following tuts on DA and elsewhere, it certainly is a demanding but very fun process<(^_^
