I am also going through tutorials all the way and restarting while experimenting with effects/C4Ds/etc. <: Though for a beginner like me it is somewhat time consuming, I am sort of starting to get the hang of when to apply a good layer/filter xD
I did that twice, while the effects on my first were my favorite outcome I realized the render hadn't been smudged to mesh with the background (whoops!), did it another time and got less favorable results haha xD I did then decide to try my own variation which I enjoyed.
I am actually onto my third tutorial that has lots of smudge effects and looks lovely.<3

Thanks so much, I actually entirely diverged from the tutorial and added some different effects/lowered opacity etc. I have to say I loved how well the colors and FINALLY the render meshed with the overall image <: I did smudge the render on said bad parts to mix it with the image I made.
Haha so I did actually keep a .PSD for the tutorial might try again later, really not sure how to improve/fix this though, I just really like the way the colors blended so went with it:

theres 4 cabins/teams
each team competes by earning points in flash games, comps and tournaments
whoever is 1st 2nd and 3rd in points by playing flash and tournamens gets a tonne of points. the person who ges first gets like a steam game visit the site for further detais

Yup damn those apparently Kyoto Animation anime xD I have watched every Kyoto Anime to date, so lots of crying here <:
But again, when I am not in a sad anime mood I must watch gore/romance or sometimes shounen; my mood changes often with genres xD
Aha same here<3 I happen to most of the time need a good sad/emotional anime to watch my feelers just love it xD I cry so often and anyone who walks in thinks there's something wrong lol.
But up there with my favorite genre is the horror/gore and I loved Ghost Hunt, but that had lots of emotional stuff <: -
