Can't believe I didn't see more discussion of this game!!! I'm hyped for the release tomorrow, the demo was super fun! I was sad about no local multiplayer and no normal races though, so I'm looking forward to seeing what each star is like in that mode :)

Not that I remember. But funny enough, I saw this post this morning and thought "I guess the closest thing would be if they ever added it to that Nintendo Music app, but I don't think it's on there yet..." And just now I see that New Leaf was added to the app earlier today! Haha

I looooove the Ultra Beast design philosophy of making them really oddball and alien, with most of them lacking complete facial features iirc (for context, Buzzwole is part of a group called the "Ultra Beasts" which are alien Pokemon from another dimension) Buzzwole in particular took a while...

I know that there were certain glitches (patched out with the welcome amiibo update I believe) that allowed players to glitch into the river... maybe you did one of these by accident? Like, hit a vertex wrong and the collision detection got weird. In that case though the character wouldn't swim...

CITY the Animation is really good guys. Beautifully animated and funny, if you ever watched Nichijou it's a similar style of comedy (same author/studio) And if you haven't watched Nichijou give that a shot too THEY'RE BOTH SO GOOD

I'll have to give this a shot! I was always sad to see that development (seemingly?) halted on the fan translation of DnMe+ (I believe partially due to in-game keyboard difficulties) so this may be a cool way to play a "definitive" version of the game with stuff from e+ and the iQue version...

I count myself lucky because Marshal moved into my original New Leaf town before I started using this forum and saw how popular he was. I was able to form my own "bond" if that makes sense, without knowing how sought-after he was for being cute or cool etc. Which is really good, bc I love...

All personalities are a bit more watered-down in NL than past titles, but even grading on a curve I feel like the snooties are sorta boring in this game... Maybe I spent too much time with the game but I just feel like they have the least interesting stuff to say I feel bad bc I love a lot of...

I think it might be, based on the hair having some weird shapes/shading and the tree in the background disappearing behind those blobby things. Something about the eyes feels off to me as well but I'm by no means a master artist and I feel like eyes are very easy to mess up even for a human. But...

Ugh I feel this so much. So many hobbies and potential creative outlets, but only so much free time. I only have an hour or two each night to either relax or work on My Stuff, so it's daunting to jump into something new @_@

I haven't done the survey and I got the alert so I assume it's just a sitewide alert like they do with events.
