the only time i wouldn't like a villager is if they moved in somewhere i didn't want them to/got them by surprise via street pass or from visiting someone else's town :( which has happened numerous times...otherwise most villagers end up growing on me one way or another :)

i don't feel salty exactly but i do feel you on the missing out factor...when i first got acnl i was waaay too anxious to even try and play online and to make it worse i didn't know anyone irl who played either :-( all that changed after i made an account on gamefaqs though (and then here, lol)...

i'm kinda leaning towards both, maybe one half built like a little village and the other half more like a park/forest, but it will definitely depend on the map! :)

hopefully you can get him to move out fairly quickly! i had monty in my first town and he was the first cranky i ever met too... he's not exactly my favorite either sadly, lol

i always thought it was amusing how we can just do a jump and change our clothes, it would be nice and efficient to do so irl lol :D also anything can fit inside our pockets, whether it be something ridiculously huge or things like flowers and insects, heck, i put my earbuds in my own pockets...
