Same here! In the meantime, I'm going to try to still work on finding him in the campsite.

To clarify - if your campsite is empty or there's a camper you don't like and want to reset, you don't need to reload the mayor and change the time back again. You can just reset and try creating a new villager again.

Reset the clock as the mayor to about 5:58AM. Save and quit. 6AM marks a "new day" in ACNL, so the campsite may respawn a new camper. Create a new villager and check your campsite. If it's someone you want, save the new villager and convince them to move in. If it's empty (which happens more...
