I didn't play today. This is actually an accomplishment for me - I've been feeling pressured to play every day despite being super busy and I managed to overcome that self-pressure today.

I am still creating the island and I have not completed a well-presented journal entry yet - the creation of this thread is just so I can have a record that I did indeed begin playing on 1/1/2021.

I wasn't born yet when ACGC came out. I got ACGC as a gift sometime when I was a little kid. City Folk was out by that point, but I didn't know that.

is there any way to get the old update gifts? are they available in game? can i pick them up from someone else and have them reorderable in my catalog (that's how items were in NL, not sure about NH)? will i have to buy them off a real person?
