This is embarrassing, but when I was in middle school my friends and I all picked japanese names. My was Takara. Even now, 12 years later, there are still people who call me that. And I've used it for most every game I've played, including Animal Crossing

In general, I love miis! I have used the same mii since the wii and I'm very attached to her so it does feel like its mii in the games that use them. But I don't use her in Animal Crossing cause she looks a little out of place

I'm actually trained in received pronunciation British accent. My degree is in theater and I had to do it for one of the plays I was in at my university
