Same happened to my partner, he has Mabel in his plaza, but no fishing tourney. His plaza hasn't been upgraded to the Resident Services building yet, as he's much newer to the game... that's the only potential reason I could think of though!

Yeah, I was surprised to see him today too, but Tom Nook said he'll visit every Saturday so I assume he's just been moved to the Friday this week with the Fishing Tourney taking up his spot in front of Resident Services tomorrow.

I'm taking it as it comes at the minute, designing each area as I see fit and changing things as I go along. The island is starting to take shape nicely now, albeit it kinda slowly. But I'm happy with the pacing of it! The thought of terraforming the whole thing in one go is too stressful for me...
