When you pick up a villager from another person's town, the villager will move into your town the next day. Time traveling forward or backwards still counts as "1 day forward". So unless you're trying to plot reset Maple to a desired part of your town, there's nothing to worry about losing her.

If you time travel to the 11th, pick her up, and immediately time travel back to the 10th (1 day backwards), you will see her plot appear in your town. The only way to lose her is if you invite another villager to live in your town before you have Maple's plot appear in your town.

Also you don't have to specifically time travel to 6am. As long as it's between 6am-5:59am of the next/previous day, it's considered another day. So you can just flick one day ahead and flick one day back when you are ready!

Hmm can't you just tt to the 10th then to give the villlager to him/her then? But no pressure, I guess i'll wait and hope things work out. On the 10th once you give the villager to the adopter, will be great if you can tt to the next day so I can give Maple to you? how does that sound.

Heyy so Maple just pinged to move *_* my town is currently full and there's actually someone giving away a sheep that I want. I know you don't like to tt but I just wonder if you'd be willing to for Maple. Since you said someone has been set to move out on the 10th, there is absolutely zero chance for anyone to ping to move so you are 100% safe to tt to the 11th if you don't care about seeing the moving villager off. (flowers will wilt though if you don't have beautiful ordinance)
