I time travel a lot and therefore get tons of letters. Rather than weeding through them and reading them all I just store them.. probably never to be seen again lol. Even the ones from Jack and stuff I just, THROW into the post office without evne bothering throwing them away.

I had a terrible time with Chief. He kept blocking off ALL my three bridges. I think it's mostly random but I also feel like the game recongizes certain spots to be "favorable"? Chief literally just kept plotting in just the same spot in front of my bridges and I gave up lol.

My original town was sooo bad. It was peaches, and the retail was like allll the way in the bottom left, and then my city hall was was just smack dab in the middle of things. The bridges were very awkwardly put, and the river was shaped very oddly. The plaza was too close to one of the beaches...

Oh my goddd. So, I was cycling like mad because I really wanted Melba, right? And I didn't have any bells or anything to buy her or trade for her, so I was on the game non-stop for like eight hours. The FIRST TIME I got someone to move and another villager to come in. It was Pietro. And clowns...

Like they said, going backwards in time only counts as 1 day, technically. Since you're going ahead a week, you might get a couple weeds here and there and maybe a flower or two will start to wilt, but besides that, you should be fine.
