;3; Good luck! I have yet to try buying a villager myself.. I typically wait until they come through the camp ground but that takes a looooooooooot of time traveling and it gets boring really fast. I did get lucky with Shep recently :3 almost had a heart attack when I saw him.

The only criteria I originally had for a map was an intimate cove/island where I could place my house without fear of villagers moving in right in front. Took awhile with resetting (my original map was incredibly awkward and I had 9 rocks! 9! ridiculous!) but I'm pleased with my fruit (peaches)...

I'm quite pleased with my town! tho I fear it is rather boring, lots of landscaping and such but nothing to necessarily set it apart. Either way, I am proud of what I've accomplished so far :)
