Yeah, school and work and life in general can be quite the pain, which is why I like to hold villagers for an hour or several hours (or on rare cases even days).
Unfortunately, I do not have Apple anymore, as someone else asked for her. I hope someone has Apple at a more convenient time for you, and you are able to get her.
