I know that by me having +1000 hours and crying about the game being boring and bare bones is very ironic itself yes, but hey to be fair: Covid happened and I play a lot of online with friends so the hours kept adding up haha. However that doesn't mean we don't have the right to not complain for...
I have to be honest here and say that maybe I should have written my post a bit better than I did. Of course I know there will always be new players and the ones that take their time with games. Heck, I'm one of those players. Except that since I played NH daily I got caught up with pretty much...
Strangely enough I don't feel a burn out yet, but that's mostly because my island is very open and natural. So I think that nostalgia right there takes me back to why I loved the previous Animal Crossing games more than New Horizons.
But I admit the only thing that makes me keep playing is...
Aside from the additional 100 new design slots, I'm quite concerned with how they handeled this FIRST anniversary. Was there also any mention if the 100 slots also gets to pro designs or just regular ones?
I still like to believe a trailer will drop on the 20th with Nook saying some thank yous...
I would have been more excited if it wasn't developed by GameFreak. They are just too lazy to be ambitious ever since they switched to 3D graphics. They also really need to hire new programmers who have experience with 3D modelling. GameFreak is one of the richest companies in the world even...
I'm not sure what specifically made me buy a copy of Wild World back in 2006, but I think it was because of the back of the box art. It said you could customize your house, and that the game was running in real life time... That to me was just a "whoa" moment since I've never played a video game...
I don't know, I'm not saying its forbiden: but I just don't like the concept of it.
To me people who time travel, are like people who would like, say... Find a copy of a very anticipated new game, but a month before its release day, and post content and everything on youtube about the story and...
Why would you want it to disappear after being consumed? But I do however admit that instead of the "cheers" animation, there should have been a drinking one instead.
Not that time traveling is a crime, but I never understood the point of time traveling to collect items quickly.
I can understand TT if you have to move villager houses quickly or such annoying tasks, but otherwise I'm glad New Horizons have things time locked so the hype is worldwide for...
Same, I have like 1,890 hours and I used to play the game like 15 hours a day every day back when I had no job or anything else to do. The quarantine couldn't have come at a better time in human history hahaha. I can't believe its gonna be one year of playing New Horizons on March 20th already...
I been reported twice, and I don't know why I thought the second time would be better or safer? But now I know to put my dream adress in private setting and only share it with people I trust or that are adults enough to see blood and have villagers curse funny at you haha. One more warning...
Your poll made no sense even with the Brewster comment by the end, but hey: Welcome back to TBT! I wish I had been a memember here back in those days to also feel nostalgic now as I found this place with New Horizons. Did this forum exist when Wild World was released? That was my first Animal...
The worst is when someone reports your island or even the dream of your island just because your beach fish market has custom design slot of blood on the sand, or that my villagers say funny catchphrases. Anyone have that "friend"? 🤔
I too was taken by surprise how many Americans and especially Canadians there in this forum! I was really hoping there would be more of my fellow European buddies here, since well... time zones make it impossible to play with people here haha 😂

The lousy weather makes me envious for...
To be fair here, I discovered this forum last year in Novrmber, and I been a Animal Crossing fan since Wild World. I'm sure like 60% of the population on earth will be playing Animal Crossing soon enough haha.
