New Horizons F.A.Q. – Ask Questions Here!

That should work, I think. Just don’t place the housing kit until his third visit, otherwise someone else will move into it. :)

Help Decide The Future of Mana

From those options, I’d choose Whitney, Tammi and Nana. They all have unique and cute designs in my opinion. As a side note, I personally wouldn’t worry too much about choosing villagers that ‘go well’ with the rest of your islanders. Just choose the 10 that you like the most and enjoy having...

New Horizons F.A.Q. – Ask Questions Here!

From what I’ve gathered, Nana should be one of the three to move in, but they don’t necessarily move in the order you invited them, so Rex snuck in there! I don’t think you can get to the beach without the ladder tool. The vine and ladder prop won’t work there because there needs to be at...

island name ideas for multi theme island?

I usually just choose a word I like and then add ‘cove’ ‘acre’ ‘isle’ ‘land’ ‘view’ ‘more’ etc until it sounds right. That’s how I landed on Lilyacre as my island name. I think Nutshell is a cute name that could go well with a lot of island themes/designs. I like the tagline of ‘in a Nutshell’...

The clothing paradox (aka, storage issues)

I agree that clothes storage should be a separate space. I’d not thought about that before but it definitely makes a lot of sense. I personally don’t have an issue with the storage space provided. I tend to order from my catalog the items/clothes I would like for that season, and once it has...

What other animals would you like for villagers? or what other designs?

Whatever type of monkey Niko is - more of that! He’s so cute, I’d love to see him wandering around my island. I really like the short villagers, like hamsters and ducks, so some more species like that would be cute. To second what others have said, I think NPC species could be developed into...

    AC:NH is horrible.

It definitely has its faults, but overall I really like NH. The level of customisation is fab, so each island is really personal to each individual player. I also think it looks beautiful, especially the sunsets and the glistening snow. I’ve played animal crossing since wild world in 2004, and...

    Island Help

I use the happy island designer website to completely map out how I want my island. It makes it much easier to see how it’ll look when it’s finished and to follow it as a guide when terraforming. Just chip away at it, do little bits at a time so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Also just go with...

    what's the best ordinance?

I do the early bird one because I’m usually playing between 5am-7am so it helps for shops to be open and villagers to be awake. It depends on how you play though and what’s important to you. I’d personally never do the beautiful one because of the flower chaos!

I think the Campsite system in ACNH is way more manipulative than it seems.

I’m confused. You can always say no to the camper once they choose a villager to replace. They never just boot someone out without your say so. Unless I’m missing something in this post?

    ikea island

If it’s an Ikea themed island then you’ll need to make it a one-way system around the island and have lots of themed rooms. You could definitely have fun displaying lots of kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms etc in different styles. You’d then have a checkout area. You could also have the...

    Do you time travel?

I never have because one of my favourite aspects of the game is the fact that it’s in realtime. I quite like that you have to wait for things and play throughout the year to fill the critterpedia. I recently redesigned my whole island and it took 40 days to tear down and rebuild the 10 bridges...

What is your take on NOT Terraforming your Island?

I prefer minimalist islands, so if an island hasn’t been terraformed much, I’d rather go and wander around that island than a super terraformed and decorated one. I’ve terraformed my island, but I’ve kept it natural. So my current map looks like it could be a map you would start the game with...

Screenshots & Video Capture Share Hub for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

I’ve recently given my house a little spruce and I’m quite happy with the results. I’m not great at interior design but it feels cosy!
