I guess, I don't really know if it does. I only joined a little over a month ago and have already become "Senior Member" if you look under my profile name, so I don't know if it depends on what you do, amount of Bells, posts, how long you've been here? No clue my dude.

TBT is one of the currencies used on here to pay for certain things, if you see on a thread under a person's avatar you'll see Join Date, Posts, Bells, etc. You can click on bells to transfer the amount asked for.

Or you go to someone's profile, click About Me, scroll down until you see Currency, click bells, same thing will happen, and a little window will show up about what you want to do with the bells, type in the amount you want to trade and let the magic happen :3

I hope this made sense, because my first time when someone told me about it, I was so confused but didn't want to seem like an idiot so I didn't pay with TBT for the longest time XD

No worries, I have Inkling Boy and Girl and all Zelda Amiibos anyway (except Wolf Link because he lives in my town unfortunately and Ganon because my dumb brother took it...it's his anyway so whatever XD) If you want to, and have the money for it, you could always buy a New Nintendo 3DS it has the Amiibo reader in it. Very helpful indeed

I feel ya mate, I can't stand when a villager moves in the oddest spots, usually I just time travel to get them to move out and as soon as they do I redirect the path correctly, so far my town's path is good, but I am going to redo it pretty soon for a Winter theme...can't wait to do that again -_-

That's what it was, a mannequin. True, but you're right about the town development part. I always like to imagine what the game would be like if you got to basically design your own town without it being hacked, like Nintendo made a new game like "Animal Crossing Town Maker" or "Animal Crossing The Making of Towns" except 10 times more creative because I can't think of anything XD

Same here :3 That's, in a way, kind of dangerous, obtaining items from a hacked town. It can possibly basically destroy you're own town just by getting an item. I've wanted to hack my town for a while now, more so Gamecube version. I don't have the time or patience to play Puzzle League honestly, it's kind of boring, not really fun, and getting 10,000 points for the (wig, dress?) no thanks, I'll hack my own town for that, or just buy it from someone else. (Sounds lazy and mean but a lot of people would agree)
