You’re probably right in your assessment. More stuff in your island means the game is working harder to process everything, which uses up more battery. Doing more intense activities like terraforming will also use more resources. I don’t think it’s that bad if it’s just 3-4% less.

I have several questions about the villagers who hang out in HHP . What determines which villagers are hanging out on the main island once you’ve given them a vacation home? Are they the ones whose pictures are showing on the map and is it possible to edit whose picture is showing?

Yeah having bad luck definitely makes it harder. Those people have probably been time traveling to rush getting the photos or bought some of their photos. I’ve only got around 50 photos and that already includes time traveling when I was trying to move some villagers out

I agree they should have added a dialogue where the villager asks if it’s ok to visit or should they come back at any other time. There isn’t really a way to prevent it. I think the only thing you can do is to try to exit the house and they’ll ask if you need to be somewhere making them leave...

Are you saying once you pay Lief once, weeds won’t grow on your island again? I’ve never used his service but I assumed that after he takes out all the weeds, it will grow back again and that’s when you pay him. It probably requires a set number of weeds for him to accept.

I guess since the villagers don’t get paid like Leif they don’t do as thorough a job.lol Although, I can see why Nintendo made it that way. If having the beautiful ordinance in effect did the same function then paying Leif would be pointless since you get it for free.
