I think as more copies begin to get too damaged to be playable, it will get harder and harder to find. Mint copies? You might be lucky to find one, but as I discovered, expect to pay around ?100 for it. For used copies, it might be easier, with the prices being around the ?20 mark or thereabout.

I would argue that resetting when saving/loading has an almost-100% chance of corrupting the files. Exiting in any other case shouldn't really cause it, unless there exists an auto-save system which I'm not aware of.

With all due respect, you seem to advocate telling people not to cheat. People can and will reset, no matter how many times a mole yells at you. With regards to the topic, I think it can be caused by many factors. The only way to know for sure is for Nintendo to investigate it.

Maybe so, but I've heard that it's difficult to back up just your AC save, as if a "last save" checksum doesn't match, it deletes the data. Maybe if you back up the entire SD, it might not be a problem, but I don't know.

Ah, yes. I think you have to talk to Digby to change who's house is sent over StreetPass. You can change it anytime you want, but I'm not sure if it will update on anyone else's HHA Showcase unless you StreetPass them again.

If Resetti has become self-aware and he's out to annoy you..then he'd better cover his ears when he hears me talk, that's for sure! Chances are, it's not the case, and might be one of the odd bugs you might run into.
