I have a very hard time getting my card reader to read my amiibo cards. Is there a special trick or way to get these cards to work? I try over and over again and nothing. How do you do it? Thank you.

I have downloaded to Ambiio characters but I cannot interact with them. Does anyone know what it takes to get them to talk to you? Thank you.
