Last night I discovered that campers can ask to move out your most recently arrived villager. I now the most recent will never volunteer to leave, so this surprised me.
There are other items you can change in if you done want a wardrobe outside. The picnic coolers, artisanal bug cage (from bug tourney), and throwback rockets all work to change clothes.
I’m looking forward to getting the cherry blossom set because I didn’t have the game in time for that last year. I started late May. My flowers are out of control. I don’t know what my decorating plans are, but I will definitely be culling flowers. (Anyone need some? I have everything.)
At this point, I do the most fishing. I haven’t been diving much recently because... well, winter and snow. However, in warmer weather probably spend the most time fishing, then diving, and bugs.

I agree that camper frequency is all over the map. It feels like meteor showers are less frequent while the aurora are also an evening possibility. I highly recommend getting your weather seed so you know when the light showers will happen.
Separate Nintendo account isn’t required for an Alt. He wouldn’t be able to go to other people’s islands, but it sounds like that’s ok for your situation.
I had villagers with the move out thought bubble for a few days, but yesterday and today I haven’t been able to figure out who has it. Does it skip days sometimes? I do have someone in mind to leave. 😒
This was a day or 2 ago, but I gave Eloise a birdcage to try to replace the traffic cone that had appeared in her house. And it worked. The birdcage fits in much better than the traffic cone did.
