how odd. Oh well.

I got a whole set up along my island to catch balloons but I barely get any DIYs from them. (I restarted my island awhile ago so building back my DIY collection.) I used to be able to clear a seasonal DIY set in a few hours total, and now I can go ages with nothing. Am I unlucky or did they do...

So I picked up another switch so a family member could play ACNH. I have two switches, two copies of the game. I have the HHP expansion on my main, but not on the second switch yet. Can I travel and visit the game that doesn't have the expansion? Are the limitations on items/clothing?

I was in a similar spot and I'm preparing to reset my island and getting cards to bring in my fav villagers. If you got a friend that plays or someone you trust on the forums, you could ask them to hold anything super important while you get settled with a new town. :) Clean slate and all.

Maybe you should restart your island? Then just reset until you get a base layout/airport you like. I've been playing AC since the gamecube version. Until New Horizons, there was a "need" to touch base with your town regularly or someone might move out without you knowing. New Horizons doesn't...

I have never been more tempted to track down a second switch.....

I decorate with the more earth toned ones and turn them off as I don't have enough in one room at a time to be worth a jarring buzz or bwonk. :)

I heard rumor there was a way to remove certain items from their "wardrobe" so they won't wear them after the update. Is this true and does anyone know how?
