Ah yes I love those too!! If you are ever looking for other series similar to these (my family and I always are) I suggest Father Dowling Mysteries with Tom Bosley (Amos Tupper) and the 70s Ellery Queen series!
Not the most recent film I've watched, but one of the most notable recently was The Great Race (1965)! I watched it when I was completely delirious with a um... certain illness.
And in that feverish state I believed it to be the best film that I had ever seen in my entire life.

In I think season seven of Murder She Wrote there are a bunch of filler episodes that are apparently based on the books the main character wrote and… some of them make one wonder how J.B. is such a world renowned author.

Yes! Japan to visit family. It was incredible (and so inexpensive!) Everyone is so nice, even with the crowds it was one of the most relaxing places I've ever visited.

Ooh that is a good question! I'm kind of afraid to try haha! I've sent things to a friend who then sent it to my new island, but that proves to be rather clunky.

I learned that Plato invented Atlantis. For some reason I thought Atlantis sprouted from folklore -- but no. Fiction from Plato. I must learn more -- if its from a fictitious story, why do people go searching for it? Why are there History Channel documentaries dedicated to its apparent fall...
