side note :New leaf is one of a few games that has captured my attention and probably will for a long time

It's pretty easy to make your house unique but there isn't much variation from town to town apart from flower and tile choice. I was super excited about this feature but it's kind of groundhog day . I hope they have more variation in the next games

All sorted, I went to main street and got the clipboard from shrunk I don't know why he didn't just give me it when I first met him outside my house

I talked to shrunk and he told me to get signatures. When I talked to people I only had the option to ask if they were missing a missing item I was holding. When I gave the item back to the owner I can only talk tocitizens but I can't sign petition :/

I want to know the best way to encourage the largest number of NPC's to visit my town.

I'm at day 3 now and would like to design a town where visitors pass through regularly(i was thinking NPC visitors) . How should I go about this? thanks
