Of all the times I made trades here I never had bad experiences even if I leave ton of stuff laying around! On the contrary people have always been so lovely, I don't know if I was lucky or what. I usually just check the feedback and make sure that they have at least a handful of good reviews :)

I agree the whole "start descending bleep bleep" part is just SO long, it makes it so hard to play with more than one people at a time, the only time I gave by mistake a dodo code to two people at the same time I felt so guilty cause one of them had to wait through the whole cut scene while...
