Usually if you time travel over two weeks and go back you'll find weeds everywhere and a villager may be moving away (Usually they pack up when you time travel to begin with, and move out when you go back).

I only Time Travel for when I miss important events. I frown upon it when people jump over a few weeks time because lots of weeds will start to accumulate and villagers will start moving away. Honestly though, it's up to the player - why should I care?
