Easy vote for me, it's Ione! I'm personally fascinated by all things outer space so Ione is a natural choice for me, with her spacey theme. Plus she glows in the dark which is freakin' adorable! I also like her house, both inside and out. 💖 She is never leaving my island!

My votes are for Ione, Reneigh and Marlo. I just simply love their designs and they will be part of my new island. :) I tend to shy away from the overly popular hyped-up villagers. It just makes them less special to me.

According to this data (Section: Kapp'n, Subsection: Details) we would have to permanently stay in the future. I'm definitely finding Kapp'n islands to be pretty disappointing in how they were implemented.

The package from my friend in Oregon finally arrived and I got the cards last night. Pleased to say I got Ione and immediately started the three day process of moving her in, haha. :) Now to look into trading!

I wouldn't count on the "spirit and soul" ever being brought back to the series. They had to get rid of Resetti, you think they'll bring back villager dialogue like the old days? Nope. People are way too sensitive now. And don't get me started on how they ruined the peppy personality...I can...

Strange, I get a balloon almost guaranteed every 10 minutes, and a few times every 5 minutes while balloon hunting. I was able to complete the three DIY collections available right now over a couple of weekends. In my experience the rates have not changed at all since launch!

I just unlocked Kapp'n on my new island yesterday and he took me to the vine and moss island! Was pretty happy to grab all those bushes, haha! I ended up going against a promise to myself and TT'ed a year forwards and then back again. Once I heard how new islands got the short end of the stick...

I personally haven't been time traveling with New Horizons. I played my first island in 2020 from March - Nov day-by-day, and now I'm doing this with my second island. I just personally find it more enjoyable and rewarding. With that said, I have nothing against those who choose to time travel...

My two packs from Amazon.ca arrived this morning. (Two days early!) Still no Ione but I am excited to invite so many I've gotten from the 4 packs so far to my island and get their photos. :) Still have 5 more packs coming from a friend in Oregon. Fingers crossed for Ione!!!

Wow that makes zero sense! I haven't received a cancellation email yet. Tracking still says the carrier has picked it up. I hope they didn't mistakenly process orders early before they received the cards. But how can a carrier pick up...nothing? Something else to be wary of.
