My lizard had an unexpected prolapse. After going to the ER and preforming surgery, they concluded it was something genetic---nothing to be done but hope she recovers and that it may be a reoccurring thing.... I have had her for almost a decade, which is VERY old for them. She seemed to be doing better initially and was on several meds, but as of tonight she has decreased rapidly. No rhyme or reason for why. Lots of people don't understand how I feel about my reptiles, but for me, she was my "dog" since before I even started HS ! And now I've been in college for a couple years ! So much of my life with her, it's really hard. We don't think she's going to make it at this point, she's in critical care right now.

Sorry to drop all this on you, but thank you for caring to ask. I have been going through it alone. It's so hard because I work with rehabbing animals, I know the signs and what to do. But hers came from nowhere, feels like a nightmare I have no control over.
