I was neutral on him in New Leaf, but in New Horizons he was the obligatory campsite villager in the beginning of the game for me, and since I was playing at release, people didn't figure out exactly how to get villagers to move out for a little while... so I was trying all these different...

Sorry for the delay - I just restarted my island yesterday and was planning to scoot Marshal into one of those first three open plots you get, but hadn't realized those are personality-locked... had to run through enough of the tutorial to get the actual open plots that other villagers can...
