Got myself a ticket on the first passenger train since 2005 to leave New Orleans, Louisiana on the tracks East toward Mobile, Alabama! That route, including the stations between New Orleans and Mobile, haven't seen passenger rail service since August of 2025 when Hurricane Katrina forced Amtrak...

Mitzi, hands down. She was the first villager I ever met in the entire series and became an instant favorite. She was also the first ever "repeat" villager I had in the series, being the first villager to move into my Wild World town when I bought the game a week after. Rizzo comes in second...

They just announced Spaceballs 2 earlier today, including Bill Pullman (Lone Starr) and Rick Moranis (Dark Helmet) as returning cast! Spaceballs us one of my favorite movies of all time, glad to see the wait for the second is finally coming to an end (in two years anyway...).

I've been on a bit of a Hunger Games kick again lately, and finally got around to watching the most recent movie in the series, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Fantastic movie, and it has me really looking forward to the next Hunger Games movie, Sunrise on the Reaping, which was an amazing...

I know it sounds weird, but I love how every page I go to on TBT has Rambley dancing at the top of the page, and then all over many of the sub forums by the titles of threads I've posted on before. Makes me very glad I chose this as an avatar!

My favorite is strawberry, followed by chocolate. There is a place a half hour away or so that has amazing strawberry shakes, and I always make sure to grab one there if I happen to be in the area!

Not a whole lot of upcoming releases have caught my interest lately. The only two I'm currently looking forward to are the new Fantasy Life, and Indigo Park Chapter 2 because I need more Rambley!

It's always so sad stepping off of the last long distance train in a long journey and watching what was essentially my home for the last few days pull away from the station and roll out of sight for the last time. I love Pikachu! Such a cute and cool Pokemon, and I'm a huge sucker for cute things. He was actually my favorite Pokemon overall for the longest time, until Buizel came out of nowhere and overtook him on my list. He's still holding on as a strong second though!

Words can never describe how good it feels to be back on Amtrak, home sweet home for the next 35 hours. And then another one after that for 61+ hours, and a third a couple days after that for 52 hours... And somehow to me that's still not enough time on board!

Even though it introduced fewer new Pokemon, Johto designs were generally pretty great and a lot of my favorites come from Gen 2. That being said, Gen 4 introduced Buizel so it wins by default.

I'm on the train again at the very start of another grand Amtrak adventure that will take me from Seattle to Los Angeles, over the Chicago (the long way through Texas), and back to the Bay area of California. I swear, it feels like the second I step onto a train I can feel my stress just...
