    I love the idea of a natural town with no paths too. I just hope we have an option of turning off Animal Tracks because I know some people like the feature, but I love running around and don't want to ruin my beautiful grass.

    What are you going to call your first Switch town?

    I'm hoping for more characters this time, but if not I'll reuse something I used on other AC games like Blue Bay, Tulip Bay, Tiny Town and Fantasia. I like simple names.

    I have always abandoned my older towns, and given the console/games away. Lately I've been wishing I still had them though... would be nice to visit them.

    Animal Crossing for sure... I just want to run around, gathering treasures, decorating everyone's houses, buying tons of clothes, and talking to cute animals. Yeah, the simple life.

    Having no announcement about the installment is worse for me. I'm wondering if it's in development or if it is just dead. No news never feels like good news to me. It plays with my head. :confused:

    I think that's what bums me the most, there's no evidence of one, no buzz. :( - - - Post Merge - - - And I'm wondering the same thing myself. Maybe they feel like spinoffs are enough. For me they are a nice diversion, but they don't hold my interest long. :(

    I'm really disappointed. Thought it would happen last year, thought it would happen this year. I bought the switch and tried a few games, but those experiences are just not as fun as ac for me. Bleh smh

    I loved my Harvest Moon game, but I let a friend borrow it and she lost it :( Can't find them in the stores by me now.
