While we acknowledge that these struggles are serious and real, for the safety and well-being of the community we prohibit the description, encouragement, or discussion of these topics. We want members to know they are not alone and that resources are available. If you are struggling, please consider reaching out to a trusted person or a support service.

How staff handle this content

Encouragement of self-harm or suicide is strictly prohibited. Such content will be removed and will result in a permanent ban.

Posts that describe or discuss self-harm or suicide will be removed from public view, however members will not be punished for sharing that they are struggling or for making otherwise well-meaning posts. The forum staff are not trained to provide crisis intervention, and cannot act as a support service for these issues. Instead, staff will reach out privately to the member to share professional and trusted support resources.

We care deeply about the health and well-being of all members, and encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out for help and support.
