Be mindful that the text and images you post do not contain private information, and always use caution when interacting with others online.
Do not publicly display your private information on the forum, such as your address, phone number, or other identifying details. Only share personal information privately with trusted individuals, and do so at your own discretion and risk. Never share someone else's private information, even if they have shared it elsewhere.
Be careful when sharing images that include unintended identifiable details such as faces, locations, or personal belongings that could reveal your identity or that of others. Members under the age of 18 are not allowed to share any images of themselves. Images of other members should never be shared without explicit permission.
Staff cannot monitor or moderate off-site platforms, so if you choose to communicate with TBT members elsewhere, be cautious and use your best judgment. Some types of problematic off-site behavior, such as on platforms closely associated with The Bell Tree, may result in moderators taking action against a member's account. If you ever feel unsafe or harassed, need help removing private information, or have any other concerns, please use the report feature or contact the moderators for assistance. The Bell Tree takes safety seriously, and the moderators will investigate all reports to the best of their ability.
