Providing Feedback About The Forums

We welcome feedback provided by our users in order to continuously improve the forums and facilitate positive change and growth. Right now, feedback can be given publicly in individual threads in Bell Tree HQ based on the topic and privately in Contact the Staff. All users, regardless of their account age and forum activity, are allowed and encouraged to provide feedback. Everybody has a different experience on the site, as well as a different viewpoint, and they should be allowed to share their opinions without fear of silencing or retribution from other users.

• It must abide by all of our rules, including Respectful Conduct.
• It must be shared in a constructive manner. Anything that's only critical is not allowed.
• In addition to our standard Post Quality guidelines, no joke posts or memes are allowed. We want to ensure threads focused on feedback are taken seriously by all users.
• It must be understanding and cooperative with the staff and other users in order to improve the forums for everybody.
• It should not be used to start or continue any drama from other threads or off-site locations.
• It should be specific what the feedback is about, with any examples if applicable.
• If a piece of feedback has already been brought up previously and the staff has already passed judgement on it, it should not be repeatedly brought up again.
• If you disagree with a piece of feedback somebody has brought up and wish to respond, you must be able to have a constructive discussion about why you disagree with it. Otherwise it'll be treated as trying to shut down another person's feedback, which is not allowed.

The staff takes all feedback seriously and will have the final say on any feedback posted. Whenever feedback is received, the staff will discuss it internally before responding as to whether or not they agree with the feedback given and will try to explain why whenever possible. Please note that there may be times where the staff agrees with a piece of feedback, but it may take a long time to implement the changes required for it due to technical, manpower, or other limitations, or it may not be technically feasible to implement at all.

Periodically, the staff will also release surveys to help facilitate gathering feedback from all users. These surveys will either be about the forums in general or major forum events, such as The Bell Tree Fair or Camp Bell Tree. All surveys can be done anonymously, though there's an option to include your username with your response to receive bells upon closure of the survey.

Providing Feedback About Other Users

Any feedback about the behavior of other users, including any or all staff members, must be done privately in the Contact the Staff board. We do not allow this kind of feedback publicly as it goes against our rules on Respecting Others.
