Question about picking villagers up from the void

ok, so I accidentally voided Lucky but need to continue with cycling. I was wondering if it would be safe to continue cycling or would that make it so theres no chance of lucky being able to be taken out of the void by my friend?

if i'm not wrong, if he's the first one to connect with you either by streetpass or internet who has 9 or less villagers, Lucky should be going to his town, since voided villagers go to the wifi pool. Or else you risk him being taken out of the void by someone else.


I'm not sure if there's a "wifi pool queue" so you can keep cycling and voiding without losing Lucky from the wifi pool, tho.
