Is there any way to get past event items?

I stopped playing the game for a while and missed the Splatoon 2 event, which I really regret because you could get such nice stuff from it. So is there any possible way to get items from events that happened in the past? I'm pretty sure there isn't but I would love to know anyways.

As far as I know, Nintendo re-issues past event items for stamp cards. They also just started to re-issue old fortune cookies as well.

They sometimes re-release event/cookie items, usually as cookies and/or stamp cards.
The Splatoon stuff's fairly recent so it'll be a bit.
