Anime. The voice acting, beautiful scenery, music, and the OP/ED songs really help bring the anime to life. I already mentioned this in another thread, but I generally don't read mangas to avoid forming biased opinions of the anime not being like the manga or vice versa. Maybe one day I'll start fully reading mangas, but right now I'll stick with the anime.
Anime, I would say manga but I'm to lazy to read and rather just watch. Don't get me wrong though ha, I read manga from time to time. yaoi.................................... is life..............yaoi if love................. if you found me pm me saying yaoi and i will give u 5 tbt for ur toubles
Anime. I like reading books but comic books or manga with panels I just find less appealing. I like reading without pictures, I feel like I can imagine it all in my head just fine.
Probably manga. I get tired of watching anime easily for some reason, and I find myself wanting to read manga more often. Binging on shoujo is all I've been doing this entire weekend.
manga. story and art is better that way. when i find an anime i like i always check if there is a manga so i can read that instead.
the OPs and EDs are cool and all that but i just get those on my ipod and move on.

It really depends on the series, how the manga is drawn, who translated it, and if there's even a choice.
Examples:
The second Fullmetal Alchemist anime (Brotherhood) follows the manga almost exactly, with just a few left out scenes. I like the anime and manga equal in a case like that.
The No.6 anime was garbage. It did follow some concepts from the light novel the entire thing was based off of, but there was almost no character growth, and it stopped following the manga/light novel 3/4 of the way through. The manga follows the light novel almost exactly, has a lot more character development, is easy to follow in terms of how it's drawn and how the panels flow, and is much more emotional.
In a case like that, I prefer the manga.
Kyou Kara Maou is a case where I prefer the plot of the anime better (even if I think they could have done a better job with the overall animation and the lazy/pathetic fight scenes), only because my favorite character in the series isn't exactly up in the foreground after a particular incident (I don't want to say anything due to spoilers; my favorite character is Conrart Weller, so anyone who has seen the anime and read the manga and-or the light novel know what I'm talking about).
I do like watching the anime if the voice actors do a good job, and certainly has more sensory input to draw the viewer in (visual and auditory, whereas the manga only has visual).
There are also some manga which I will only read scanlations of (Detective Conan) because the translators changed/butchered the names of the characters even though the manga in does an excellent job.
There are also some manga (typically the shoujo genre, ironically) which I just can't read because I can't differentiate between the characters/almost all the characters look the same (like in Furuba) or the way it progresses/flows from panel to panel confuses me (like Sailor Moon).
I like manga because you get the exact storyline. You can't always trust some animes to do the same. Plus I like still art. Too many things moving around at once on screen just confuse me.
Anime, mostly because its nice seeing it in motion and how they're adapting the story from the manga..but if its like the case like Sailor Moon Crystal...I'd rather read the manga instead.
Manga's cool and all that, but the only ones I have are the Dragon Ball and the Pokemon Adventures manga (Read that manga, that crap is amazing) and that's about it.
