Current TBT to IGB rate?

1 TBT = 200k in-game-bells
2 TBT = 400k in-game-bells
3 TBT = 600k in-game-bells
4 TBT = 800k in-game-bells
5 TBT = 1 mil. in-game-bells
6 TBT = 1.2 mil in-game-bells
7 TBT = 1.4 mil in-game-bells
8 TBT = 1.6 mil in-game-bells
9 TBT = 1.8 mil in-game-bells
10 TBT = 2 mil in-game bells
15 TBT = 3 mil in-game-bells
20 TBT = 4 mil in-game-bells
25 TBT = 5 mil in-game-bells
50 TBT = 10 mil in-game-bells
100 TBT = 20 mil in-game-bells
150 TBT = 30 mil in-game-bells
200 TBT = 40 mil in-game-bells
250 TBT = 50 mil in-game-bells
500 TBT = 100 mil in-game-bells
1,000 TBT = 200 mil in-game-bells
and so on :p

I think it's unfair, tbh. I will never do TBT - IGB exchange.

It used to be fair 2 years ago. Now it is really blown out of proportion and it'll never fix itself because people are too greedy.

One post in this thread is 200k Bells? Good god though. This post that I'm typing here alone could get me nearly 1 mil in IGB and it isn't even that long of a post.

I mean, from the TBT->IGB perspective that's great I guess, but I don't know why people pay so much money for minimal TBT.

Silversea, what do you think would be a good exchange rate?

I know, these days you can't get almost anything for 5-10 tbt, so you'd be wasting almost 1-2 million in game bells, which used to be so hard to get, with multiple trips to the island, fishing and catching bugs.

I'd say it takes me an hour to get 500,000 Bells on average. The average post on the forums is 2-4 TBT. So, if you want to be literal and take the conversion based on time invested, then here are some potential calculations:

50 posts an hour = about 150 TBT. If 150 TBT = 500,000 IGB, then 100 TBT = about 325K, and 1 TBT = 3,250 IGB.

100 posts an hour = about 300 TBT. If 300 TBT = 500,000 IGB, then 100 TBT = 160K, and 1 TBT = 1,600 IGB.

If you make 200 posts an hour (does anyone really?) then 600 TBT = 500,000 IGB, making 100 TBT = 83k IGB, and 1 TBT = 830 IGB.

So, to properly determine this, we need to work out the average (reasonable) number of posts users can make per hour. Right now, the conversion is about 2000% of what it probably should be.

Again, all assuming that the conversion should be equal investment on either side.

Let's make a formula for it, that way people when exchanging can plug in x (average number of their posts)?
