there is a part where you can save so you dont have to go through the whole opening
 
I bought Sun from GameStop today. Haven't opened it yet though because I haven't been able to decide if I want Rowlett or Popplio.

I did it to get the nature for Litten I wanted and it only took me 4 tries :0 just be patient and also set your text speed to 'fast' mode

you'd think they'd change the gender ratio though? :|
 
Anyone know if it's possible to change hair color and the like at some point? I thought I wanted the brown haired boy but I don't really like the brown eyes so I might reset. ._.

Wait. Before you reset, you can get all that changed at the big city, Hau'oli City.

And my gosh. Ilima was recently the most hardest battle I have come across. I used Pichu's charm 2 times on the Yungoos, switch to Rowlet to take out Yungoos. Then the hard one, Smeargle came in and I switched to Pichu to charm him. The Smeargle stopped using Tackle and went for ember. I thundershocked but it didn't work. So I tail whipped it 2 times and switched to Donald Trump (I mean, Yungoos) and he finished the job.
Phew, so hard.

Getting ready for the Trainers School! I'm trying to catch all of the pokemon I come across too... Also, I hope Lillie becomes less annoying ;u;

Does anyone know if you can catch Alolan form pokemon right out of the gate? One of the first trainers I fought had an Alolan Rattata.
 
I'm a little upset Hau decided to go with the Pokemon weaker to your starter type TT^TT
I chose Rowlet, but I was going to get Popplio eventually.. now it seems weird because he has Popplio </3

I don't want to reset either, because I've already grown to love my little Rowlet <3
Curse you Hau *shakes fist* He spoiled my plans xD
 
I can't find this one pokemon, even though it's supposed to be on this route, and I know it's not version exclusive. I DON'T WANNA CONTINUE UNTIL I HAVE IT, WHERE ARE YOU!?

This is the biggest struggle because I want to get Litten eventually but I'm going to have an Arcanine...

I love my Rowlet. Nicknamed him Forrest. <3

I'm just using Serebii's pokedex for the games. It gives out huge spoilers, for the pokemon at least, but idc I want this one SOOOO bad!
 
Is it me, or are Pokemon that are waiting to battle you a good exp grinder?
 
I nicknamed my Rowlet Soren because I'm an adult but I'm also still a Guardians of Ga'Hoole nerd.

I had to stop playing after the "my body is ready" joke.

Lol I caught a ledyba, and I completely forgot how weak it was. Used tackle on a level 3 caterpie (ledyba was level 5) and it did way under half ;0
