Just bought a second town, and I've been resetting for a good map all day. Just found an absolutely PERFECT town map, and started it to find my favorite fruits (Cherries) and Stitches were in there! The rocks are in pretty good locations, and I couldn't be happier. I don't care for Stitches myself, but I'd just love to auction him off haha.
Congrats! That sounds really good. (I wish I had paid more attention to maps, I just settled on the first one I got, and wish I would have been pickier.)
Nice! One time when I was map resetting, I found a map I loved that had the perfect train station, apples (a fruit I almost never get), and Beau and Apollo, two of my dreamies for that town, and they were in pretty decent places! It was great My second town now came with Merengue and Rudy, and while I'm keeping Rudy forever, Merengue had to go because she was directly in front of my town hall. My sister has her now and she couldn't be happier
Congrats! I don't really have an exact ideal map in mind but my maps pretty okay looking at the moment, the rocks aren't exactly ideal and neither is the native fruit but i'm working around it. I had Stitches and Ankha for starters one time, although the map was pretty horrible at the time I wanted to keep it just because I knew they were popular villagers so I thought I got lucky LOL. Although I haven't had them as starters ever since, whenever I map reset I either get a really good map with horrible starters or a awful map with good starters. Maybe you should post it here since some may be curious as to what the map looks like.
Congrats, I had the problem with my town map, and I did not like the native fruit (a pear) but I figured I could work around the fruit and just plant more of my favourite (the apple), which I have only just accomplished with having a batch of 6 perfect apples, which I am so happy about. So I solved my fruit problem! But I still dislike my map, and the rocks are awful, they were fine at first until people moved in and made them awkward for paths. Oh well, life is never fair (except for you!)
