Review the Dream Town above you!

My Dream Address is 5200-3732-3031 It is a work in progress ^.^ so suggestions are welcome.

Review of Laputa!

The paths are amazing! They are very well done and very cute. Every inch of your town is covered in flowers. I love it! One thing I would suggest is to replace the fairy-tale streetlight next to your mayor's house (Shaina) with something more grand like a fountain or illuminated heart. There is also an empty space right under your waterfall. It looks like a great place for a bench or picnic blanket.

Onto the mayor's house! I'm not really sure what bells are doing on the floor on the left, but I do like the princess series. The soft colors of the left and right rooms are nice, especially in contrast to all the colors of the sweets series in the main room. Downstairs you have a maze formed by blue and gold roses. Although it is filled with flowers, it seems kind of empty. The room on the right was my favorite. It was very classy. Good luck with finishing!

@Fernweh
I think jasa11 has got your town. :)

Ah, such a lovely town! Every space seemed well thought out, and I really admired the symmetrical flower arrangement around your house. If I had to pick one thing that I really liked about your town, it would probably be your rooms! Each room had it's own appeal, and they were all very nice. I honestly cannot think of one thing that you should improve on, as your town already seems to be in its best shape! Easily one of my favorites.

Dream of the dreamy town of Jericho

First note: Thanks for.. the Pajamas that I was already wearing? Welp, now I have an extra set of Pajamas.

First off, the paths surrounding the plaza could use a bit of the ol' razzle dazzle, I'd recommend finding some extra QR paths to liven and mix up the tiles around this area for it could become really repetitive and boring. Lots of peach trees down south and appears to be a WIP from the surface.
There didn't seem to be a path going anywhere so I headed north towards town hall first. Looking at the landscape though, THIS TOWN HAS SUCH INCREDIBLE LANDSCAPE, I WOULD KILL FOR THIS TOWN LAYOUT OH MY GOD. Very cute town flag, Don't understand the fire hydrant. I can kinda see what you're doing with the fountain like area in front of the cafe but why would you close off the pathways to the cafe with flowers? It'd seem rather counter-intuitive realistically. The topiaries are a step in the right direction though.
The same note about repetitive patterns forming for the tiles surrounding the train station. as well as the white lilies that lace the path, Hopefully you'll mix up these flowers a bit and make a beautiful combination. There's lots of white lilies, lots of white lilies
Lots of peach trees and lots of white roses on the beach. Also oddly placed PWP's that I will assume are serving a purpose of some sort.
Also found a beehive on the floor, Hope you didn't get stung ♪
Update: found 2 beehives. found another one.
Sucre's House:
I don't understand the use of the Sleek set while trying to maintain a sense of calm and tranquility through the use of K.K. Lullaby and a giant teddy bear. The house exterior clearly shows it's a black metallic themed house but the atmosphere on the inside contrasts it's appearance entirely.
Shax's House:
Central: a Pave Room, leaves much to be desired. The modern wood set is looking good to compliment its colors though.
Right: Using the gorgeous set with the museum floor suits the colors very well however might I recommend to put more tables in here for your trophies?
Left: a kitchen area, very nicely done with the flooring and furniture placement. Makes it feel very much like a kitchen however could do well with a tad of music and perhaps a small table.
Back: Egg set room. Basic furniture is there though doesn't have much character.
Upstairs: Very nice rococo room though could improve. specifically replacing the large bookshelves
Basement: Campus furniture and villager pictures. not much to say here. underwhelming.

This town leaves alot to be desired, Hopefully it'll be improved in the future.
Definitely a Work in Progress, or should be.

Going to do UltimateGamer's town. My dream address is in signature down below

Well, first of all, great town name. I love rice lmao

Your path is very simple and yet so nice at the same time. Plus, Pokemon so 1000 points there. And you are really good at the way you place your paths around your town. Mine are always oddly place because I run out of space and try to cram stuff in places they don't fit. Idk, I just like yours.

Your flowers are very color organized. I like it.

Lyman's catchphrase is perfect.

Your house is small but considering the size of your town tree, I'm guessing you just started recently. But you already have so many pictures so I'm impressed. Unless you did April Fools day.

I like it. Obviously a WIP but it already looks great!

Gonna review starcake just leaving a space~!

I love your town name very much, its simple but very cute. I think you picked a very lovely path, and Your town is very simple and clean, it might be a work in progress, but even so, i enjoy it how it is now. I can see it becoming great! I can appreciate you kind of did whatever youd like in the interior of the houses. the only suggestion I have for you would to be maybe upgrade your house size, and work on some cool pwps you like :) they can totally spice up your town and make it even more unique, but i like how clean cut your town is now, I think its cute how you put the camper next to the campsite, the boardwalk was really adorable and I love the way you did that, Your villagers are SO CUTE!, im also a fan of your town map. I can tell just by a simple look around you have a really great eye for placing things, and I'd love to see your town again in the future if you update it!~

everyone...!! a bit long but worth the read..?

I don't "critique" anyone's town because I feel this a game where people should be allowed to do what they want with their save, and i see a lot of people here saying some iffy things like "REMOVE THIS, REMOVE THAT, THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED, I DON'T LIKE HOW THIS LOOKS LIKE THAT, IT'D LOOK BETTER IF YOU GOT RID OF THIS AND ADDED THIS INSTEAD, YOUR HOUSE IS PLAIN, YOUR HOUSE DOESN'T HAVE A "THEME" THIS DOESNT MAKE SENSE TO ME AT ALL, I DONT GET IT," seriously? so? who cares, this game is about expression and no one should attack anyone else's personal preferences.. I do however believe in suggesting things to ADD to someones town, and maybe pointing out something that looks like an accident in a path or item on the ground Maybe even say they can improve on there placement ect, but the extreme detail some are going to to point out how some things just dont click for them is a bit weird. I think there is a difference between being helpful and kind, and wanting to change specific things about someones town that they like, its not your town, its theirs, so respect that and always consider how someone else feels, and stop making up for certain things you said by saying "oh but your wallpaper is cute" like. what. stop... try "maybe you could move the "pwp" over more, so it aligns with the "__" instead of something like "HUH, ODD LOOKING, WEIRD LOOKING, STRANGE LOOKING, WACKY LOOKING" "DONT GET IT" "DOES IT MEAN SOMETHING" tbh how would you feel if you said that about maybe a specific house, and it was actually an ingame memorial for a lost pet or something? Thats a very common trend in the dream world. think before you act, this game is also sort of a get away for some people. Sorry :(

ah one last edit.. it seems like everyone expects everyones town to try and follow a "theme", some people simply do things because they like it.. i know thats hard to comprehend, but theme isnt everything. The more creative and unique the better.

My dream address is 5400-4567-0499 I hope you have a nice dream, sorry if i offended anyone in the post, but i dont know.. kind of had to be said i think.. Im sure its never anyones intention to hurt someone elses feelings, but youre not roasting someones town, youre trying to help them out right? take it down a notch

Gabriella-First I want to thank you for the lovely review of my Joy town. I also want to say that I agree with what you posted. If you ever read my reviews, you would notice that I only point out the things I like in a town, because I feel there is no wrong way to decorate. We make our towns the way WE want them. However, you pointed out that my paths needed tidied up and maybe a boarder around them. I couldn't disagree more. I have had that town for almost two years and placed those paths very carefully. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm when you posted that comment, and I've had so many reviews in the past that I try not to let it bother me. Not trying to start anything, but I think that most people giving reviews on here are not thinking that they are offending anyone with the negative comments, and I know you didn't mean any harm when you said my paths needed work. Thanks again for giving me a review, and for all the nice things you said about my town.

You are so welcome!! I am really sorry about the path comment and i even tried my best to say its really nbd, but the original board maker said in the description "must include 1 thing to improve on" so i thought maybe id get in trouble if i didnt atleast FIND something, and beilive me i had to TRY to FIND something. I hate making people feel bad, and Your town really is beautiful. If you like your paths, thats all that matters and more power to you for not listening to others comments. You couldnt have put it any simpler too. "because I feel there is no wrong way to decorate. We make our towns the way WE want them." It was my pleasure to review your town, may you get many more reviews!

next person to review my town, please read post above thegreatbrain and just consider that c:

Gonna review Gabriellaa's because I have insomnia right now. Reserving space.

Any town with beans in a present is immediately cool.

I'm not sure if it's suppose to be a dino graveyard to the south of the plaza but it's really cool.

Main room is nice. Lots of yummy treats on that table :3

Football fish are indeed adorable. I like the room with the football fish above the bed

The back room is awesome! It's very nature like and I love that kind of stuff. What is the lizard furniture called? I've never seen it before.

Interesting desert bathroom. Is it a WIP or completed? Sorry if I don't get what you were going for in that room but it's nice!

Birthday room downstairs is nice and somewhat dark at the same time. Very interesting combination.

Your town seems to have a more forest like theme going on in the outside so far. I like that.

Town tune feels familiar. I think I know what it is too. And it's stuck in my head now D:

Gabby's house was nicer...
...totally kidding. I liked Lisa's house too xD.

I'm not good with constructive criticism. I don't know what you can do to improve your town. I love it and I love everyone's towns because they are always further developed and better then mine. Plus, I agree with you that there is no wrong way to decorate a town. Your town is lovely and inspires me to continue working on mine.

Reserving the spot to review town of Starcake

First, your town name is so adorable! <3 and I love your paths. Brown brick patterns are simple and neat, and the tile with a cat pattern is sooo cute! ;) it's a nice touch. You did a great job laying down your paths- it connects to all major buildings & houses in your town. I enjoyed walking down the path from the cafe- and landscaping in south east (bamboo trees+ bushes) look great. Btw, you picked a really good spot for cafe in my opinion c:

Are you planning to do nature theme around the campsite? I like the stepping stones you used & the players house (or should I say tent xD)- they go well together with the campsite. Personally, I did try to do nature theme around my campsite. I added clovers, mushrooms, tree stumps, and hammock & camping cot PWP. Mine is in Southern part of the map so I couldn't plant cedar trees around it tho.. But your campsite is up in Northern area so cedar trees can grow- maybe you could add a few more? c: can't wait to see it when it's fully decorated.

I also enjoyed talking to your villagers- some of them I've never met or talked to them in actual game before I visited your dream town, so it was great meeting some new villagers c:

I'm guessing you are more focused on landscaping than decorating inside the houses.. (I was the same way with my town.. I took forever deciding & doing the house decorations lol) good luck getting what you need to decorate your houses & have fun later!! (Maybe I could help with orderable furnitures XD) Overall, I really like your town map & there's a lot of open space for more stuff like PWPs and flowers/bushes- Tho it's a WIP, what you have done so far with your town looks really great, and can't wait to see more after you develop your town even further. Good luck unlocking more PWPs that you need. Thanks for sharing your DA ~ :)

My DA is 5500-5128-3236. My town is like 98% finished. (Never at 100% cuz sometimes I get the urge to change things a bit).. Hope you enjoy c:

Going to review Dawn!

At first I couldn't get used to the autumn colours and thought they made all the plants look a bit 'dry' but it grew on me quickly! The earthy tone of everything looks great. Although I would recommend updating some of the tile paths you have (the grassy ones with flowers) since the bright green doesn't fit in well with the autumn grass

I have Fang, Felicity and Diana in my town too! Muffy and Merengue moved out a while ago but it was nice seeing them again :) Also Fang's shirt looks adorable on him

The fairy tale bench with the streetlights behind it is gorgeous~ it's like you can spend the entire day there watching the ocean

Woah the special stump patterns lining the path to the cafe must have taken ages :o

I love Juliette's upstairs kitchen! It feels really cozy and homely c: maybe I misinterpreted something here but I'm not a big fan of the slushy machine and water tank thing in the corner since it makes the room feel a lot more public and a bit dirty, since it reminds me of those run-down restaurants that just dump their machines in the corner uncleaned :\

Hahaha you have all your villager pictures in your basement, that's really sweet! However I can always imagine a cutesy mayor playing russion roulette with the pictures to find the next animal on their hitlist

You do have picnic blanket and wisteria trellis repeats: not saying that's a bad thing but since they're not really in context with each other (e.g. your double illuminated hearts look great together!) it'll be nice to have some variety

Anyway sorry for the long post! Hope you found some of my points helpful c:

Feel free to visit Village! 6500-5107-4218
It's all finished except for a few more flowers to fill up empty spaces and those darned uchi pwps...

Izora^^ Village

I love, what you have done to the plaza, and the cherry blossoms surrounding it, is really pretty.
Throughout Village, I love how you have placed the cherry blossom tree's- around the river! The position of the gong next to your house, makes it very Japanese- and that theme follows around the town as well.

Keeping all your houses/other buildings on one side of the river as it makes the other side look even more beautiful- I know I'd like to camp there!! As well as that, I love the orchard of perfect pear trees.
(I know this isn't really part of your town, but all of your designs are amazing!!)

I like the oriental themed house (Naoto)- the back room with the hot springs is my favourite. However I do feel like the upstairs could be expanded on a little- just to give it a complete feel. But I really do like the house

Overall, it is a really nice town (or village) and you have put a lot of thought into placement.
I now feel that my town is a disgrace :P

bump! i think the next town to review is StarryACNL's town with the DA of 6800-4896-6627~

i hope this is allowed

Reviewing StarryACNL's town Foxville ...

I really like the paths that you chose. The blue flower pattern is really pretty. I also like how in some places, the path is interrupted by the placement of trees, forming a pattern (I hope you understand what I mean by that). Where I think that you can improve is in the placement of the paths, it looks kinda weird by the town hall, and Re-Tail. I think that you can also improve the town by adding more pwps around town, as well as planting more trees.

I love your style of paths combined with the black roses lining the paths and pops of colors! usually towns just have explosions of colors everywhere, so I like the change of pace... you have some great scenic points around town like the topiaries on each side of the bench, the path all the way left across the river, and the log bench. But you have a lot of blank spots (obviously your still working though)... good luck with designing the huge open spaces, but I can tell you are gonna do something so chic! However, there are way too many pear trees.... a few fruit trees can make a statement, but that many is a little overkill.... and by seeing everything else I know you can come up with something cool for those spots! You need to bring some of that chic style into your home too... add personal touches that show your personality! Like I expected cafe accents with your name lol! the color palette of the west room is freaking awesome too! A creepy Princess room would be pretty sick for your back room too

my only DA is for Riften btw...

Reviewing Toadsworthy's town Riften. :3

Paths look SUPER cool. :D Immediately it made me sad when I saw the spot where crazy redd shows up and erases some path but .n. it's not a huge deal, I just feel it's something that should be fixed before making a dream town. Also the red/brown brick pattern and blue tile pattern kinda threw me off...? I mean they're nice but maybe not exactly what I expected for this town. :s I dee kay. Clearly you're not finished with it yet but so far it does look really nice. ^-^ I enjoyed the symmetry and the look of the diagonal paths with bushes. There are cool PWPs and oh! I like the bamboo with bushes. Not a bad look. It looks like you are just missing a few flowers and whatnot. :o
Oh and I loved your house!! The different themes in each room are awesome and made me smile. I enjoyed it a lot. ^-^ Good luck with the rest!

Wow, okay. Let me first just say, the first impress I had of this town right as I was waking up was that there was a huge amount of time spent on it! The patterns in the town center look amazing!

Secondly, as I was walking around the town, I was really amazing simply by the amount of flowers! Forming the paths with the flowers looks amazing, and I especially love the flower clock. It's so nice and coordinates well.

The first house with the 'You left us BEHIND' writing on the walls is particularly creepy! Although, it's a little hard to make out the 'behind' and it took me a bit to get it.

The dinosaur bones all around town were such a nice touch. I really like that the dream is set during night and autumn. It's a nice touch.

I love the Mayor's house! Especially the sweets cafe on the left side of the house. The library is also amazing. I think the mushroom wallpaper looks really well with the furniture in it.

Annnd then I got to the basement. Talk about creepy!! The hotel (?) upstairs and second floor were nice. The basement was alarming, haha! I love it. I especially love how contrasting the music and bed is to the rest of the room. I like the subtly of the fairytale exterior of the house, and then the inside (particularly the basement) is anything but!

The aesthetic look of the clock between Faize's house and the train station is really beautiful! One of my favourite places, actually.

The last house was definitely spooky, though the meaning wasn't the clearest to me? I got the doll and the axe part, but the globe and gems weren't so clear.

Overall the town was very very beautiful! Definitely a fan of the spookiness too, and the stairs hidden around town.

My dream address is 5100 - 5911 - 2974. My town isn't finished yet, so I would really appreciate suggestions about it! Thank you c:
