So, I recently made a new town, and whilst I was asking people for suggestions, I had an idea. We could build it together!

Here's what I'm suggesting: every time I make a big change to the town (building bridges, starting the campsite, etc) I'll create a poll for you to decide what will happen. As well as this, you can also make little suggestions on the thread, for example what kind of flowers I should use, what should go in my house, or which villagers I should allow to leave.

I'll regularly post pictures and updates of the town, and I'll announce when a new poll has started. This way, you can keep track of the town you're helping to create!

^This is Gla?age, the town in question. I'll take a better picture of the map at some point. I should have really made a poll to decide on the town name, but when I made Gla?age I wasn't planning on making this thread :rolleyes:

So, we'll start changing the town from tomorrow. Tonight I just want to see your reactions. Is this a good idea? Would you be interested in participating? Is there anything else I can do to make this more enjoyable?

I'd love to participate! It sounds like it would be really fun. I can't promise to be active every time since my visits to the forum are a bit sporadic but it seems like a really cool project. :)

That's fine! I don't need everyone to participate in every vote, as long as I can get a general idea of what people want. I have to admit, I was pretty excited when I thought of doing this :D
 
This sounds like a neat idea. :) Will you be cycling out villagers to ensure that the villagers' homes will be placed where you want them to be?
 
Sounds like a sort-of sized up version of a CYOA. But I'd like to see what'll happen.
 
I would for sure help out and vote if you think you won't have a problem going along with other people's wishes

Well, I have two towns, so I can do whatever I want in my other town and just go along with whatever people think in this town :)

I'll put a poll up later today. It'll most likely be voting on the first thing to build; the campsite, the dream suite, etc. I might have to time travel to get the dream suite, but it'll be worth it if it means people will be able to visit Gla?age in a dream. That being said, I'll never mess with the date unless it's necessary.

I won't be cycling out villagers. I will plot reset to ensure no one moves into a terribly inconvenient place, but as long as their house isn't in the way of anything, I'll let any villager move in. Like I said above, I want to keep the time travelling to a minimum, so there won't be any cycling :)

I have a few dreamies in my other town, Alportel, that I'd like to see in Gla?age. I'll probably hold polls to ask people whether or not certain villagers should be moved in. I might need help with transferring them between towns since I only have one 3DS :rolleyes:
 
After I've had dinner I'll upload pictures of the mayor and the town, announce the new move-in and put up a poll :)

So far, it looks like the campsite has been the most popular option :D I'll announce the winner tomorrow night. If the campsite wins, I'll post a map with the different possible locations marked on, and there will be another poll to decide where it will be :)
