You just reminded me, I've been neglecting to put out my miniature plastic tree. I think it's because I'd have to clean my apartment or something.
I had to move 2 tables and a fish tank to fit my tree into my apartment so I feel ya. My living room is now a disaster, but hey, at least my tree looks pretty? XD

It pains me to say, but he's not very popular. He's a permanent resident of my town, though. The first Animal Crossing I played was City Folk and he was the first cranky I met. After meeting all the other villagers with their squeaky voices, hearing his bass tone made me go ballistic and move in right next door.
But that's less common desirability and more memory-based.
I love Chief as my cranky <3 He's gonna be Whitney's boyfriend whether he wants to be or not >
Chadder is cool! He's one of those really unique themed villagers - I'm sure someone will take him.
When I had Chief he was my boyfriend .. He even moved his house right in front of mine >.>
Hahaha, aw, that's cute... and a little creepy... his house is weird. o.o
