Can I come over to your town please?

A villager asked me to go to other towns and talk with the folks to sign a petition of sorts.
So may I please do so on your town?
Also while there may I please do:

1) Grab a cherry. A villager wants a cherry and sadly she asked at a moment when I already sold the cherries I grew to make some bells. v v
2) Check out the stores to buy stuff.
3) I got a town initiative called: Outside Options Initiative.
It says I need to find an exterior and request it to be available at my town.

My town? I don't own the town I live in and that's ... just weird because we don't even know each other.
