I've never heard of either beign commemorated here in the US, but I'm interested to hear what people do in other countries... (seems like all i hear about is going shopping??)

do you get the day off form work to celebrate?

and do you do anything for Boxing Day or for St. Stephen's Day?

I'm celebrating by curling up in a ball and recovering from yestreday.... I was making rather merry

Can't really say i'm familiar with Boxing Day, but im celebrating it unknowingly with leftover food and wine lol

My dad doesn't get the day off of work but we did go to a play in the evening. More so as a celebration of Christmas rather than Boxing Day though :)

Nope. I usually just sit around doing jack-all or trying out my gifts.

Not really. I mean it's a red day/holiday in the calendar but idk, some people have turkey dinners on that day or christmas day but otherwise not much lol

Never celebrated it and never really understood how. I thought the name came from boxing up old stuff to donate or something, which is a great idea. I'll be doing that at the beginning of the year, as I hope to use a part of my refund to refresh my wardrobe! =D
