Question about adopting Villagers.

So say I adopt... Flurry from a town. Then a few hours later on the same day I go to a different town and adopt Jacques. If this were to happen what would be the results? Would Flurry/Jacques wait for one of them to plot first and then plot theirs a different day to move in or do one of them decide to never come live to my town?

If you adopt two villagers on the same day,the second adopted villager will cancel out the first adopted villager.You have to wait until the first villager plots before you can successfully adopt another one.
