Sry, I just can't figure out how I earn this currency and everyone seems to use it so it's kind of important, could you tell me what it's about and how to get it?

Well tbt is a thing where if someone is selling stuff from the ac game you can get. But to earn them, usually u earn them by posting stuff, replying to people stuff, and ya. Thats how I kept getting bells on here. <(^~^<

So people sell stuff and you buy them with the tbt, but can you redeem tbt for in game currency or aything? Otherwise it seems you would always lose out in trades, right?
