The Political Compass

Party politics is a trap.

Yes it is.

That's why I consider myself a moderate; I would never call myself a Democrat or a Republican because there are many idealism of both that I do/don't agree with, but not because I like them more or less. I just decide things based on my morals, and I use common sense.

This is what I guessed I'd be.

I personally think this alignment chart is all BS, but anyway:

I thought I was more left than that, but it's pretty much what I expected.

Yeah that thing was a bit bs, like what does astrology and some stuff have to do with this lol?

Economic Left/Right: -6.5
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.9

i don't think this compass is that great because even though people can be close on the compass their political views can be very different.

i would never describe myself as a liberal, i think social liberalism is fine but the american liberalism is really bad.
i have a lot of libertarian (not liberal) values but i think many of them are more leftist or anti fascist than straight up libertarian but idk. i don't have a lot of political opinions about economy, i mean i definitely have opinions on how money should be spent but i don't know much about the free market or that stuff

i believe in a strong (ish) government but i think that the government should work for the people rather than the other way around. i think the government should be responsible for healthcare, education, social security and things like that and i think social safety nets are needed in society.
democracy cannot be upheld if the government isn't being closely inspected and authority should be questioned but that doesnt mean that the power should be put in the hands of, like, companies or whatever ....

Took that a while back and was hard economic left, hard social left

I think it would make more sense to be the farthest down that you can get because I basically want no government (or almost none), and I want the people to have almost total control over themselves, a murderer shouldn't have any control over themself though and the moral and ethical civilized humans can control them. I basically think people should be the government since these days it's like only the rich can have control, and every country, no matter what they say they are, is a plutocracy.

political compass.jpg I used to be more to the right because I was young and believed everything my parents told me was true, which was absolutely wrong and ive finally established my own ideas and opinions.

Libertarian socialist aka let me do what I want and the government must help me if I need it

I think this means I'm pretty neutral but like less on the hitler side

Idk if I was going crazy also but some of those questions were phrased poorly, made me want to not choose a "right-side" answer that I probably normally would've, and vise versa
