Anyways, with the lengthy history behind this single word, Ofc I would think it would be offensive, even if you weren't black. Black gangsters use it all the time for some strange reason, which makes no sense because they don't understand the suffering that word has caused.
I watched a video all about it in my history class. And trust me. It wasnt pretty.
