I can't really find the answer to this... so here goes!

I have a villager I want to move out so I can move him somewhere else. Luckily I have his amiibo card. However, I am wondering if we will keep our friendship/memories or will I get a "fresh" villager once I move him back in.

He may say something like, "This place seems strangely familiar" when he comes back, but otherwise he will be a "new" villager.

He’ll be completely reset, and won’t explicitly say that he remembers you.
